The Escarpment will be the first in a multistage land release by the Corporation and presents an unprecedented opportunity to invest in one of the country’s most prized locations.

Presenting exceptional mixed use development potential, The Escarpment forms part of one the last remaining infill sites adjacent to a working port on the edge of a capital city.

 

The Escarpment comprises approximately 8,797m2 of available land, with three building envelopes totalling approximately 6,676m2.  The site falls under the Sullivans Cove Planning Scheme 1997, administered by the City of Hobart and is zoned mixed use.

The overall development potential of Mac Point includes; commercial space, an exhibition venue, an arts and cultural precinct, accommodation, tourism infrastructure and fifty per cent allocated for public space.

REGISTERING YOUR INTEREST IN THE ESCARPMENT

Prior to the Corporation commencing its formal Competitive Bid Process for The Escarpment, Knight Frank is seeking pre-registrations of interest to provide interested parties the opportunity to lodge their preferred contact and business details.

Those interested are actively encouraged to complete and submit a Pre-registration of Interest Form  in order to receive a direct copy of the Corporation’s upcoming Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI).

 

Whilst the Corporation’s timing for the release of the REOI is yet to be announced, it is anticipated to occur prior to the fourth quarter of 2020.          

     

Please note; no assessment or shortlisting of any kind will be undertaken as part of the registration of interest process. This process is purely designed to provide those parties interested in The Escarpment with the opportunity to register their details and receive a copy of the Corporation’s REOI upon release.
